David is a Principal of Griffith Hack, Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, and has 20 years experience in intellectual property specialising in patent prosecution, advising on IP strategy, and patent informatics.  David is responsible for the Information Services Group of Griffith Hack which conducts patent and technical searches for clients both in Australia and internationally.  David has also been involved in developing proprietary software for the automatic harvesting and management of patent information and has written numerous articles and given many presentations on using patent information as a business asset.
