Following a career as a solicitor and law lecturer in Australia, Francis has spent 21 years in Geneva and worked in almost every area of IP. His current responsibilities at WIPO cover the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), management of the Arbitration and Mediation Centre, and traditional knowledge and folklore.
